Last Saturday, Anthony and I, joined by my mom and Cristina, walked over to the Rockwell Business Center for a quick brunch. I almost settled for some hash browns at McDonald’s, until Cristina spotted Buon Giorno, an Italian restaurant which initially came with a lot of promise but, as you will see later, didn’t quite live up to its name, which, incidentally, means “Good day!”

Finally, after an excruciatingly long wait, we got to see The Social Network, but not before a surprise stop at Elbert’s Cheesesteak for a quick bite. We have reviews and ratings for both the movie and the meal, then proceed to a little chitchat about stale contact lens solution and our views on Lady Gaga’s meat costume. We end with a classic anecdote of how we, also in costume, got thrown out of Heidi Klum’s Annual Halloween Party in New York City.
Oh, and make sure not to miss Mister’s shirt, which has more buttons than a 7-story hotel elevator.

Our appointment with the dentist ended earlier than expected, so we decided to grab a quick bite at Som’s Noodle House, a hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant right by the entrance to Rockwell. Both Anthony and I were familiar with this area, as we took a flamenco class at the Clara Ramona Dance Center just down the road. Take a minute to imagine Anthony in heeled flamenco shoes… Hysterical! He was NOT happy at all. Hahaha! Anyway, I digress.
