We thought of celebrating the success of Cristina’s Best Dressed event last week, not only with a dinner out together as a family, but specifically with a lot of fried pork.  I remember speaking with my mom over the phone that afternoon, as we were deciding where to eat, and since it had been raining the whole day, we both felt like having some hot soup, sinigang in particular.  Not quite sure how that led to us chatting about crispy pata, but it was at that very moment that we both knew where exactly we were going to have dinner.

My parents invited us to join them for dinner at Shangrila Mall last week.  Apparently, it was one of those rare occasions when my dad found himself craving for his favorite dish, Crab Maritess, at Clawdaddy, which, of course, we ended up craving for as well.  Talk about the power of suggestion!
