A fresh bagel isn’t exactly easy to find here in Manila — The varieties I usually come across are either frozen or have been sitting on a grocery shelf for at least a few hours.  Now while that’s totally fine with me (since I’m more of a pan de sal kind of guy), it’s definitely a problem with Anthony, who is not only a HUGE fan of bagels, but also loves to enjoy them straight out of the oven.
